Just before the release of the Insta360 Ace Pro 2 MM93 Edition, we got the chance to speak with Marc and his team about this collab, and find out just what it is about Insta360 Ace Pro 2 that made him put his name on it.
Q1: What was your first impression of Insta360 Ace Pro 2?
MM93: I really liked it. Insta360 told me it’s an action camera and when got to use it, I knew already it was premium quality like the other cameras I use. I put it on my bike the first chance I could and rode a few laps with it. I was very impressed. Then Insta360 offered me the chance to make my own version and I said absolutely. I hope all my fans get a chance to use it on their bikes too.
Q2: We know you’re a massive fan of GO 3S. What makes Insta360 Ace Pro 2 so different?
MM93: The clarity and speed in the footage blew me away, honestly. I’m used to Insta360 cameras getting high-quality images, but filming on the track in 8K is a game-changer because I can see every detail like with a professional camera, but with something small enough to fit on my bike.
Q3: How have Insta360 cameras helped you in your practice sessions?
MM93: The quality of Insta360 products is amazing. For me, it’s important that things are “easy.” By instinct, you know how to use the camera. This is key because, if you make something, no matter how good it is, if it’s complicated or difficult to use, then people feel confused. For instance, I always put Insta360 GO 3S inside my helmet and use Insta360 X5 to record my practice. They’re easy to use, and easy for me to check the recording when I get home. This helps me a lot.
Q4: Are you planning to share any Insta360 Ace Pro 2 footage with your fans?
MM93: Yes, absolutely. I love connecting with my fans and being able to share things like my training always gives me a good feeling. Being able to share that with Insta360 Ace Pro 2 will build our connection even further because the footage will be so lifelike. I also hope it will inspire others to try it themselves.
Q5: What challenges have you faced with your current motorcycle?
MM93: There are always challenges in MotoGP. Even when your bike is in perfect condition, something can happen on every corner. During the race I won in spring [Gran Premio YPF Energía de Argentina 2025], I was just cruising in the end, just controlling the gap, but I slowed down a bit too much in one corner, and I lost the front. That’s what makes MotoGP so exciting—anything can happen.
Q6: Do you have any advice for riders?
MM93: You need talent if you want to win—but it’s not only about talent. If you want to be the best, you need to work day in, day out, try to improve, and accept that sometimes, there will be better riders than you. You need to learn from them. It’s like with Insta360, they need to check their competitors and see what they’re doing. Because it’s the way to improve, and I do the same: I check the competitors and what they’re doing, because it’s the way to improve and to be the best.
