Leatt recently released the waterproof and breathable HydraDri 4.5 jacket, pants and boots that are made for off-road/enduro riding.

The HydraDri 4.5 jacket, pants and boots have breathable, waterproof membranes that are made from a material engineered by Leatt. Leatt makes three different HydraDri membranes (HydraDri, HydraDri Evo and HydraDri Max) and the new gearset has the HydraDri Evo, which Leatt says is fully waterproof, tested to surpass 20,000mm of waterproofness.

The jacket has five pockets and four vents, all with YKK zippers. The fit can be adjusted at the waist, neck and wrists. The two-pocket pants have zippered vents on each leg and there are a pair of generously sized hip pockets. The knees have brush-guard reinforcements in addition to leather panels, and there’s room for adding knee armor in the pre-curved in-the-boot pants.

The boots have polymer-composite buckles, a low-profile toebox, protective steel shanks and extra grip on the heels to keep feet planted on the pegs. The Enduro soles were refined with the assistance of hard-enduro racer Jonny Walker and have DualZone hardness areas: The mid area is harder where the boot is often on the pegs while the edges of the soles are softer.

A tapered neoprene gaiter at the tops of the boots help seal out water. The boots secure on with Leatt’s SlideLock system, which has one-way Velcro on the upper closure so that keeps the closure from loosening.
