Rieju Signs Veteran Racer Alfredo Gomez

Spanish manufacturer Rieju signed fellow countryman Alfredo Gomez to a factory contract for 2023. Gomez will contest the 2023 FIM Hard Enduro World Championship and SuperEnduro World Championship, which gets underway this weekend (December 10) in Poland.

Gomez is a former runner-up in the Hard Enduro World Championship and former winner of the Erzbergrodeo Hare Scrambles. Early in his career, Gomez won a World Trials class championship aboard a 125cc GasGas.

For 2023, Gomez will compete aboard Rieju’s MR300 Pro model.

Gomez’ weapon of choice will be the carbureted Rieju MR300 Pro two-stroke.

Rieju recently signed Sandra Gomez, Alfredo’s younger sister, to compete in the 2023 Dakar Rally.
