The 2022 Yokohoma Sonora Rally Navigation School has been announced. It is limited to 20 participants and instruction takes place in San Luis Rio Colorado, Sonora, Mexico February 12-13. Advanced routes will be provided for those with previous rally experience.

Sonora Rally navigation school will combine classroom training with practical application road-book exercises, in the nearby Altar desert and dunes. The road books will be designed by Sonora Rally ops boss Rodo Fernandez and instruction will be provided by two-time Dakar Rally class winner and Sonora Rally organizer Darren Skilton.
The school is perfect for first time rally enthusiasts as well as experienced racers looking for a tune-up before racing the Sonora Rally. There will be classroom instruction Saturday and Sunday mornings, followed by practical road-book training in the desert. Rally Comp units will be available for all participants for the complete rally experience in order to fully understand how rally raid events work.
Sunday morning instruction class on Rally Protocol is also perfect for those interested in volunteering on Sonora Rally. Learn how to run a checkpoint, fill out time cards and how to help riders and racers at the event. This instruction will also be available in Spanish.

Classroom Start: 9 a.m.

COST: Two Day School: $600 per person ($200 credit upon entry to the 2022 Sonora Rally)
INCLUDED: Two mini stage roadbooks, classroom instruction, practical dune training, use of Rally Comp device, Sonora Rally T-shirt, breakfast daily, Saturday dinner at Bohemio.
NOT INCLUDED: Hotel, lunch, snacks, water, vehicle or bike to run stages equipped with rally odometer, fuel, Mexico insurance.
