Cycle News Staff | May 29, 2020
The Havasu WORCS round that was scheduled for June 12-14 has been canceled. According to WORCS, “there has been an influx of tourism to Lake Havasu City over the last two weekends and the city officials feel it is best to not hold any major events for the time being to keep the number of people visiting to a minimum.”
Havasu WORCS Moves To Wickenburg
The good news is that the race has been moved to a new location in Wickenburg, Arizona, over the same June 12-14 weekend. The race will be held at a new venue for WORCS, the Flying E Ranch.
“We are excited to be going to a brand new location that has never held an off-road race,” a statement from WORCS said. “This will be all new freshly built track with miles of new track at the famous Flying E Ranch.”
