KLIM Artemis Adventure Gear
Press Release | March 17, 2018
Adventure Jacket and Pants Made by Women for Women
The Artemis female-specific adventure motorcycling gear from KLIM was made by women riders for women riders. Feedback from other female adventure riders was also used to create the pants and jacket combo.
Made for adventure riding, the Artemis includes female-specific comfort-mapped ventilation, breathable Gore-Tex weatherproofing, and high-level D30 armor. Karbonite ripstop overlays is on the elbows, shoulders and knees, while the inner-knee areas have genuine goat leather.
A full suite of D3O Level 1 armor is used in the shoulders, elbows, back, hips and knees. Ten custom ventilation port locations in the jacket and four in the pant ensure adequate airflow and Klimatek cooling mesh backs the armor pockets. Klimatek is also used in the mesh armor pockets to allow ariflow through the D30 armor.
Each jacket has four arm and two waist quick-adjust straps and zippered hip gussets to fit different body types or accommodate for layering options. Artemis pants feature adjustable snap hem closures to fit varying boot and leg shapes and an adjustable waist cinch helps you dial in the right fit.
A soft collar liner keeps you in the jacket longer and the upgraded polygiene anti-odor liner means both pieces can go for months without smelling like it. Also, unique pad retention systems on the upper calf of the Artemis pant keep knee armor in place throughout riding movements.
There are 10 pockets on the jacket that include concealed document pockets and a rear storage pouch. The KLIM Artemis Adventure gear is expected to be available this spring.
