Europe’s best flat trackers take on JD Beach and Briar Bauman in Barcelona’s Superprestigio this weekend
It’s pretty unlikely you’re going to be in Barcelona this weekend for the annual Superprestigio (if you are, lucky you). That being the case, you’ll need to watch the event live streamed, and AMA Flat Track regular broadcaster Fanschoice.tv has got you covered.
Starting at 9:00 am PST, this year’s Superprestigio will be the first in the modern running of the event not to feature Marc Marquez, who helped rebirth the once great Spanish event back in 2014.
Even so, there’s still a plethora of stars competing in Barcelona. Current MotoAmerica Superbike Champion Toni Elias, MotoGP’s Johann Zarco, World Supersport Champion Lucas Mahias, Moto2’s Remy Gardner, Endurance World Champions Vincent Phillipe, David Checa and Gregory Black, and Moto3’s Fabio Di Giannantonio head the list of road racers competing against America’s JD Beach—a renowned flat tracker—and full time AMA GNC rider, Briar Bauman. Brad Baker was due to make another appearance at his usual end-of-season race but pulled out last month with injury.
