EnduroCross roars into Arizona for round five.
This is a press release from EnduroCross…
Irvine, CA (October 24, 2017) – Law Tigers Motorcycle Lawyers is confirmed as the title sponsor of this weekend’s Scottsdale EnduroCross. Law Tigers is a professional association of motorcycle injury lawyers who help riders every day and the company is proud to be a title sponsor of three of the 2017 EnduroCross rounds. This Saturday’s event inside the WestWorld equestrian arena will showcase a lot of Arizona residents that are among the top riders in the series, so the local fans will have plenty of riders to cheer for. Last year’s Scottsdale event sold out so get your tickets now.
FMF KTM’s Cody Webb will enter the Scottsdale event on a hot streak as he has taken three straight wins after a close second at the first round. He holds a ten-point lead over Rockstar Husqvarna’s Colton Haaker, who won the opening round but has since struggled with some injuries and bad starts. With only three rounds left, Haaker needs to turn the momentum back in his direction to defend his championship.
Webb and Haaker are the established leaders in the series but there is a hungry pack of riders fighting for the podium. Trystan Hart, a twenty-year-old Canadian, is getting a lot of attention and currently holds third in the championship. Kyle Redmond, a relative veteran of the series is fourth. And Ty Tremaine, a three-time Junior EnduroCross champion (riders 21 and under), is fifth. GasGas backed Noah Kepple, another youngster, holds sixth. And Cooper Abbott, an Arizona native and son of off-road motorcycle racing legend, Destry Abbott, is currently seventh.
The Arizona EnduroCross will also include one of the Friday night Destry Abbott, DA8 training sessions on the track. The two-hour EnduroCross training session is very hands on with several of the top pro riders assisting Destry in providing instruction on how to tackle the obstacles. The session is open to all riders (even those not competing at the Scottsdale event). For the $100 entry fee, you will learn how to tackle the difficult obstacles found on tough trails and EnduroCross tracks. This will be limited to the first 20 entries, so it is likely to sell out.
There will be a lot of local support for the Scottsdale event. Ride Now Powersports will be on hand showcasing new models, gear and accessories and Catalyst Pain Solutions, which includes four Arizona locations, will be at the event to share information about their pain management options.
EnduroCross includes a class for everyone with the Amateur, Vet, TrialsCross, Women’s and Super EnduroCross (Pro) classes. And for 2017, there is an Amateur B Main, which allows more riders to make it into the night show. If you want to give it a shot yourself, now is the time to sign up.
