Great weather greeted the Lucas Oil AMA Pro Motocross Series, as practice and qualifying got underway this morning in Buchanan, Michigan.

Ryan Dungey topped a tight group of qualifiers in the 450 class, laying down a fastest time of 2:00.611, which just edged out Ken Roczen’s 2:00.623 and Christophe Pourcel’s 2:00.742.

Fourth fastest in the morning was Broc Tickle with a 2:01.553, barely beating out Jason Anderson’s 2:01.722 and last week’s winner Justin Barcia at 2:01.908.

Blake Baggett (2:02.119), Wil Hahn (2:02.535), Phil Nicoletti (2:03.220) and Tommy Hahn (2:03.648) rounded out the top 10.

In the 250 class, it was defending class champ Jeremy Martin setting the quickest time with a 2:02.939, followed by Cooper Webb with a 2:03.602, and Marvin Musquin at 204:084.

Zach Osborne came in at 2:04.554, while Alex Martin’s 2:05.137 rounded out the top five in the 250 class.

If you’re wondering why you didn’t see Adam Cianciarulo’s name in the top five it’s because the Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki rider is sitting out RedBud after injuring his shoulder this week in a practice crash. According to Kawasaki insiders, there is not yet a projected time for Cianciarulo’s return.
