Robert, Russell and Baylor Brothers Confirmed for 2014 KENDA Tennessee Knockout

Press Release | July 31, 2014

FMF KTM Factory riders will be gunning for the win

KTM’s Off-Road Racing Manager, Antti Kallonen, has confirmed that Taylor Robert, Kailub Russell, Steward Baylor and Grant Baylor will all be competing in the 2014 KENDA Tennessee Knockout. The FMF KTM factory riders will add to the excitement at one of the toughest off-road events of the year.

Robert finished second in the 2013 TKO and learned a lot about the terrain and what it will take to challenge for the top step on the podium. The former WORCS champion and top American at the ISDE has proven his diversity with recent wins in both the OMA and WORCS series.

Russell is the 2013 GNCC Champion and is currently leading the 2014 title chase. This will be his first attempt at the TKO but he has proven to excel on tough terrain including a win at the notoriously tough Snowshoe GNCC just a few weeks ago.

Steward Baylor is a past National Enduro and GNCC XC2 champion that has struggled with injuries over the past few years. He showed he is back on track with a second at the most recent round of the National Enduro series in Pennsylvania.

Grant Baylor is the defending GNCC XC1 champion and is currently leading the battle for the 2014 title. He competed in the 2013 TKO and will be able to apply what he learned about the tough conditions to move further up in the results.

The KENDA AMA Tennessee Knockout, fueled by Monster Energy and presented by Moose Racing and SRT has quickly become one of the premier off-road events on the calendar. Top riders from the GNCC, National Enduro and EnduroCross series will again face off on the extremely challenging course in a spectator friendly multi-round Knockout format. The fourth annual event will take place on August 16-17, 2014 at the Trials Training Center in Sequatchie, Tennessee.

The amateur classes, which compete on Saturday are already full but spectators are encouraged to come check out the exciting pro action on Sunday, August 17th.
