Argubright Does the Funky Chicken

MEDFORD, OR (June 16, 2014) Round 7 of the AMA West Hare Scrambles series took place this weekend in Elkton, OR, and Motorcycle Superstore’s Jacob Argubright was there to race the legendary Funky Chicken.
“This was definitely one of the most fun races I’ve done all year, the course had really great flow, I just didn’t want to stop racing! Even though I made a mistake and lost the lead on the last lap, I still got the points I needed toward a championship. Thank you to Motorcycle Superstore and all of my awesome sponsors for supporting me!”
The Funky Chicken is put on by the local ETRA club and is one of those races riders look forward to racing some day – as was the case with FMF/RPM/KTM’s Travis Coy. His first attempt netted him a solid 4th overall.
“It was my first time up to the Funky Chicken and it was just as awesome as I had always heard! The track was fun and technical, but a bad start had me struggling to make passes through the dust! All things considered I was fairly happy with a 4th on the day, but I will definitely be back next year looking to get the W!
