The FIM issued the 17-race 2015 AMA Monster Energy Supercross schedule this morning, with the series again set to start at Angel Stadium of Anaheim and conclude at Sam Boyd Stadium in Las Vegas. In between there are a few new stops, including the series venturing away from Qualcomm Stadium in San Diego’s Mission Valley to the home of the Padres – PETCO Park, which is located in downtown San Diego. There’s also a doubleheader of sorts in the Georgia Dome in Atlanta, with that stadium set to host back-to-back rounds at the end of February.
The other new round will take place at Levi Stadium in Santa Clara, California, on April 18 with the series set to crisscross the country for the final four rounds – Texas, California, New Jersey and Nevada.
Two rounds missing from the schedule is the round in Canada, with the FIM’s release stating that the Canadian Federation will sanction the round in Detroit. The other round that’s off the schedule is Seattle, Washington, which has apparently been replaced by the Santa Clara round in Northern California.
