The Toyota/Yamaha/N-Fab/JGRMX Team is getting in on the fun at the Anaheim II Supercross. In celebration of the 40th anniversary of the Supercross Championship, the team showed up with retro-looking Yamaha YZ450Fs. The yellow and black machines mimic the YZs of the 1970s and early ‘80s. They look very cool and stand out brightly in the A2 pits.

Speaking of the JGRMX Team, Josh Grant came into the race still feeling sore from his shoulder injury suffered last week in Phoenix. He rode on Thursday and felt he was in good enough shape to compete today. He has so far ridden the first practice session and, as of this point, is expected to ride tonight. His standby rider, Phil Nicolette, is here but did not ride practice and won’t be eligible to ride if Grant chooses now not to compete.

GEICO Honda’s Eli Tomac, however, is definitely not riding tonight. He is letting his shoulder heal completely and is expected to return to racing next week at Oakland.
