AMA Pro Road Racing announces five rounds for 2014.

AMA Pro Racing made the long awaited announcement of their official 2014 AMA Pro Road Racing Schedule. The schedule includes five rounds: Daytona, Road America, Barber, Mid-Ohio and New Jersey. And with the exception of Daytona and Road America, the events will feature the new two-day format.

Each round will be a doubleheader for the AMA Pro SuperBike, Daytona SportBike, and AMA Pro SuperSport classes, while the Harley Davidson class continues with its one race format.

Absent from the event schedule is the World Superbike weekend at Laguna Seca. However, in a release issued by AMA Pro Racing, the possibility of a sixth event being added to the schedule in the coming weeks was included. And with Mid-Ohio moving its date to a week later, there is no longer a scheduling conflict with the Laguna Seca weekend.

Below is the 2014 AMA Pro Road Racing Schedule:

3/13-15                  Daytona International Speedway             Daytona Beach, Fla.

5/30-6/1                Road America    Elkhart Lake, WI

6/21-22                  Barber Motorsports Park              Birmingham, AL

7/19-20                  Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course        Lexington, OH

9/13-14                  New Jersey Motorsports Park    Millville, NJ
