As a “thank you” to our servicemen and women of the United States Armed Forces, Colin Edwards’ Texas Tornado Boot Camp and Gibson Art Designs have collaborated on an original piece of authorized motorsports artwork.

Themed with the U.S. Military in mind, Gibson Art Designs brings us his self-titled work, “Road to Glory,” featuring the two-time World Superbike Champion, Colin Edwards II.  In stunning imagery, silhouettes of United States armed soldiers stand tall behind Edwards sitting aboard his NGM Mobile Forward Racing machine.

“This was really special to me because of the cause.  I am honored and humbled to have been able to work with this group of guys throughout the process and completion of this piece.” -Derek Gibson/Gibson Art Designs

Signed by the MotoGP legend himself, Colin Edwards and artist Derek Gibson, this one of a kind 18×24″ charcoal drawing is scheduled to be auctioned on eBay, Thursday September the 12th. All proceeds will go to Race For The Wounded, a grass-roots non-profit organization that supports veterans of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.

“I’ve spent a lot of time with the men and woman of our armed forces; the words proud and brave are a constant.  I’m honored to be involved with Race For The Wounded.  I look forward to the future and doing anything I can to help.” -Colin Edwards/TTBC

Founded by Brett Robinson (1SG Retired 82nd Airborne), Race For The Wounded raises awareness of the challenges wounded combat veterans are faced with on a daily basis, helps veterans integrate/adjust back into society and heals their wounds of war through hardcore off-road racing competition.

“Race For The Wounded will be using the proceeds to help our brothers and sisters get parts of their lives back through extreme competition.  We are a non-profit that was started and ran by combat veterans that understand how important it is to never forget them.” -Brett Robinson/RFTW
