Nicky Hayden Undergoes Wrist Surgery

Marlboro Ducati’s Nicky Hayden underwent surgery this week to “clean up some old scar tissue” in his right wrist, according to a post on his Twitter feed yesterday.
“All went smooth – just a small setback,” Hayden Tweeted.
Since Hayden and his Ducati teammate Andrea Dovizioso aren’t participating in the test at the Circuit of The Americas, March 12-14, the next time Hayden is scheduled to ride his Ducati MotoGP bike is at the Jerez tests in Spain, March 23-25.
Hayden is also scheduled to be a guest of Ducati at its Panigale press introduction at Circuit of The Americas on March 19.
