Enduro X is going global. The ESPN X Games version of the AMA EnduroCross Series will head to Brazil, Spain and Germany in addition to the August 1-4 X Games in Los Angeles, California, in 2013, according to series promoters.

The 2013 X Games Enduro X schedule will begin April 18-21 with a round in Fox do Iquacu, Brazil; from there the series will head to Spain for a round in the Barcelona Olympic Stadium, May 16-19; the third round will take place at the Olympiastadion in Munich, Germany, June 27-30; the series will conclude at the Staples Center in Los Angeles in August.

The three events will feature both men’s and women’s classes with a select number of AMA EnduroCross Championship riders (number to be confirmed) invited to travel to those events and compete with the best riders from each of those continents.

“This is an unbelievable opportunity ESPN is offering to the world’s top off road riders,” said Eric Peronnard, the creater of EnduroCross. “In my wildest dreams I could not have seen such an opportunity arise. X Games has elevated the world of Enduro to unthinkable levels and now we will have the possibility to shine four times a year on several continents.”
