Donington Park, Assen Get Awards

Infront Motor Sports has announced its recipients of the 2012 Superbike Organizer Award and the 2012 Superbike Media Award with Donington Park in England and Assen in Holland earning the honors, respectively.
Donington Park earned the Organizer Award for its “promotional, logistical and sporting point of view.”
“I would like to express my warmest and sincerest congratulations to the Donington Park circuit management and all its staff, who did a great job in 2012 and who demonstrated that the circuit was the best overall of the 2012 eni FIM Superbike World Championship from an organization point of view,” said Paolo Flammini, CEO of Infront Motor Sports.
In addition, the 2012 Superbike Media Award went to the Circuit van Drenthe in Assen for its “facilities and services that enabled media to carry out their activities in the best possible way and for the overall running of the press center.”
The 2013 World Superbike provisional calendar has Donington Park scheduled for May 26 with the Dutch round slated for April 28.
