Taddy Blazusiak dominated round five of the AMA GEICO Endurocross Series at the National Western Complex in Denver, Colorado, October 6. The defending champ came out swinging by topping the afternoon’s MVP Racing Hop Lap. He followed that up with a win in his heat race, and then capped it all off with another victory in the main event.
Blazusiak passed Taylor Robert, Cody Webb and teammate Mike Brown on the first lap of the final and, from that point on, never looked back, taking the win with room to spare.
Robert kept Blazusiak honest for a few laps before dropping his Kawasaki and losing a couple of spots. He caught back up and ended up battling Brown for runner-up honors.

Brown finished out the race in third, followed by Geoff Aaron and Justin Soule.
With three rounds left on the schedule, Blazusiak leads Robert by 31 points in the 2012 EnduroCross points standings. Brown is 33 points back in third, followed by Webb (36 points back) and Colton Haaker (55 points back).
Webb fell in the main event in Denver and finished 10th.
Haaker failed to qualify for the final.
