No Crutchlow For Ducati

Cycle News Staff | August 16, 2012

Though we don’t yet know where he will end up, we do know that Cal Crutchlow won’t be riding a Ducati in the 2013 MotoGP World Championship.

Crutchlow, who has long been rumored to be in negotiation with Ducati for next season, said today on his Twitter feed that it’s no longer an option. The deal instead has gone to Andrea Dovizioso.

“Seriously though you can all stop asking about me riding the red bike… it’s not avaliable to ride. So I won’t be riding it…”

Crutchlow is currently fifth in the 2012 MotoGP World Championship on a Monster Tech 3 Yamaha.
