Mees Opens His Doors To Fans

Jammin Jared Mees Grand National Number 9 will have his Rogers Racing/ Blue Springs Harley-Davidson/ Saddlemen/ National Cycle hospitality tent open during the “Open Paddock” time during this Saturday’s Lima (Ohio) Half Mile. Jared and his team will be serving up some light food and cool drinks, and Jared will be on hand to sign autograph sheets, take pictures, and answer questions.

Jared is a 2 time winner of the Lima Half Mile (2005 and 2007) and holds a 14-point lead going into the Lima round of the 2012

AMA Pro Harley-Davidson Insurance Grand National Championship presented by Motorcycle-Superstore and Lucas Oil.

“I love the track at Lima Ohio, and I love the fans!!” says Jared. “The way everyone lines up around the fence… the 29 years of history racing at this awesome track… it’s really electric coming here. I wanted to give a little something back to all the great people here!!”

Jared is hoping to claim his third victory in the last 7 years at this Saturdays race at the Allen County Fairgrounds track.

Although no set time is posted on the AMA Pro Flattrack schedule at this time for “Open Pits”. This should be after the last qualifying session and before the scheduled 7pm opening ceremonies. Look for postings or announcements at the track if you are planning on attending.
