Shoei Teams Up with Geico Honda Racing for 2012

The following is from Shoei…

Shoei Teams Up with GEICO Honda Racing for 2012

After a brief hiatus, Shoei will once again protect the entire GEICO Honda team as it has done for most of the past decade.  Already longtime sponsor of team captain, Kevin Windham, Shoei will now be outfitting the Lites team with their often copied (but never duplicated) Transworld Motocross Magazine Product of the Year winning VFX-W helmet.

How do the team riders feel about the partnership with Shoei?  Just ask team veteran, Wil Hahn.  “I’m so happy to be back in a Shoei.  I’ve worn Shoei whenever I’ve had the option since I was an amateur.  It’s really reassuring to know I’ll be protected by the VFX-W this year.”

“The great thing about bringing on a team sponsor like Shoei is knowing that you are offering your riders the very finest equipment available.  I know from personal experience that in order to win championships, a rider has to stay healthy, and I’m confident that there is no better helmet for our team than Shoei,” added Team Manager Mike LaRocco.

Look for Kevin Windham and the rest of the Geico Honda team to be bringing their helmets to the podium all year long starting on January 7th in Anaheim, California.  Learn more about the VFX-W and all the other 2012 Shoei helmets at your local dealer or visit us on the web at www.shoei-helmets.com.  Be sure to check out the Shoei North America facebook page for constantly updated content featuring the Geico Honda team and all other Shoei supported athletes.
