Hayes Talks About MotoGP

Josh Hayes had it all planned out: A nice little vacation in Spain with his wife Melissa would culminate with the two of them getting to test a Monster Tech 3 Yamaha M1 in the days following the MotoGP finale at Valencia. It was a nice payoff for winning his second successive AMA Superbike title – the chance to fulfill a life-long dream of riding a GP bike.

Late last week, the chance to ride that Tech 3 Yamaha M1 turned into something completely different. With Colin Edwards set to undergo surgery this week on his injured arm, Hayes has been drafted in to replace the Texan in the Grand Prix of Valencia.
