Robert Dominates Glen Helen WORCS

| September 26, 2011

Taylor Robert could not have asked for a better weekend at round eight of the World Off-Road Championship Series at Glen Helen Raceway, September 24-25. The Monster Energy Kawasaki rider led every lap of both one-hour races, Saturday and Sunday, to take the overall victory.

“This is the best race of my life,” said Robert after claiming his second win of the season.

Second overall went to FMF/KTM’s Mike Brown who finished second to Robert both times.

Third overall was Brown’s teammate and series points leader Kurt Caselli.

Kawasaki rider Justin Soule (5-4) and Bobby Bonds (4-5) rounded out the top five overall.

In the Pro2 class, Yamaha rider Ross Neely came away with the win over Honda rider Justin Jones and Kawasaki pilot Justin Seeds.

Despite losing some ground to Robert and Brown in the ’11 standings, Caselli still maintains a comfortable 26-point lead over Robert with just two rounds remaining on the 2011 schedule.
