Bol d’Or Eighth Place Start for Pridmore & Maco Racing

The Maco Racing Team of Jason Pridmore, Gregg Black, and Gregory Junod will start from the eighth position in Saturday’s 75th 24 Hour Bol d’Or, the World Endurance Championship season-opener at Magny-Cours in France.The Yamaha R1-riding team qualified with a best lap of 1:42.957 mins., less than a tenth of a second off the seventh fastest Honda TT Legends trio of Steve Plater, Jon McGuinness, and Keith Amor.The pole position went to Suzuki Endurance Racing Team, the reigning world champions, whose average lap speed of 1:40.589 mins. was boosted by the 1:39.740 mins. lap turned in by Vincent Philippe. The team also includes Freddy Foray, Daisaku Sakai and Anthony Delhalle, with the final three-rider choice to be named before the 3:00 p.m. local time start of the race.
