Press Release | February 4, 2011

The following is from Jason DiSalvo…Jason DiSalvo and Brian Stokes are pleased to announce the founding of the Jason DiSalvo Speed Academy. Both Jason and Brian will bring their years of motorcycle racing experience and expertise to students in an exciting 2 day school format. Based out of Talladega Gran Prix Raceway for 2011, the school will have six dates for the season, with full Ohlins technical support for students at select schools. Students will have access to the same technicians that the pro’s utilize during AMA Pro racing events. If working representatives from motorcycle racing’s leading suspension company isn’t enough, students will also enjoy the benefits of full GPS data logging during sessions. Speed Academy staff will fit your motorcycle with the latest data logging systems to capture your real time racing lines and corner speeds, which will be waiting for analysis when you return to the classroom between sessions.Jason expresses his enthusiasm for this new project in saying, “I’m so pumped to be starting this new venture! It’s a part of my career that I’ve been contemplating for some time now. Guest instructing at various schools has always been a passion of mine. I’m excited for Brian and I to be able to help riders take their skills to the next level.””I am very blessed and fortunate to have the opportunity to work with Jason,” said co-owner/instructor Stokes. “Together, I believe we can teach riders a better, faster and safer way around the race track. This is a dream come true!!! “Speed Academy will kick off with its first school on April 22nd and 23rd and will be offering this 2 day program for $895 dollars. The school will run a curriculum designed to benefit either top level racers or beginning motorcycle riders. If you own a motorcycle this program promises to be a springboard to helping you achieve your goals, whether it’s capturing race wins or simply having a better, safer ride.Speed Academy is planning to launch its website and online order processing system next week.
