The following release is from Miller Motorsports Park…TOOELE VALLEY, UTAH (October 27, 2010) – The Yamaha Champions Riding School, based at Miller Motorsports Park, has announced its 2010-2011 winter schedule of schools to be held at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.The dates will be as follows:November 22-23

April 7-8This represents an expansion from six schools over the winter of 2009-2010.These eight schools will include level-one schools and race-specific schools to help riders of all skill levels accomplish their riding goals and improve their skills no matter what type of rider they are currently.”We continue to get great feedback from students who have attended the Yamaha Champions Riding School,” said lead instructor Nick Ienatsch. “Our winter program at Las Vegas Motor Speedway was so well received last year that we have added two additional dates for this year to accommodate the demand, and that is very gratifying.”As has been customary since the school’s inception, Yamaha will continue to provide championship-winning “guest instructors” for many of the school dates. Previous guest instructors have included 2009 Superbike World Champion and 2010 MotoGP Rookie of the Year Ben Spies; five-time Daytona 200 and 1993 Superbike World Champion Scott Russell; 2008 Superbike World Champion James Toseland; 2010 AMA American Superbike Champion, 2003 AMA Superstock Champion and 2006-2007 AMA Formula Xtreme Champion Josh Hayes; 1998 AMA Superbike Champion, 2001 World Superbike multi-race winner, 2004 AMA Supermoto Champion and X-Games Supermoto Gold Medalist and 2008 AMA Supersport Champion Ben Bostrom; 2010 AMA Daytona 200 winner Josh Herrin; and two-time AMA Supermoto Lites Champion Brandon Currie.The Yamaha Champions Riding School is also offering a special group program providing private instruction tailored to individual group needs. Groups ranging from casual Sunday riders groups to local Star Riders or Star Touring groups to club, regional or national racing series now have the opportunity to get together 15-20 riders for a school designed specifically to meet their needs, riding styles and lives.These exclusive schools will be arranged individually by the school staff in order to provide the experience your group is looking for. Either way, you can learn to “Ride Like a Champion.””We are having so much fun helping riders improve their skills at the Yamaha Champions Riding School,” said instructor Ken Hill. “We have a great staff of instructors, the best motorcycles and equipment and fantastic facilities to operate from.
