Amateur Open of MX Returns

Press Release | October 7, 2009

The following is a release from Braun Entertainment:As announced by Braun Entertainment’s President, Erv Braun, the 2009 Amateur Open of Motocross will return to its original dates of December 1-6. For the 6th successful year, the event will be hosted by The Arizona Cycle Park in Buckeye Arizona, just a few miles west of Phoenix. Gates will open for early arrivals on Tuesday, December 1, at 2 PM.”The move back to December was a positive decision after extensive talks with the MX industry, and the motocross families, who regularly attend,” Braun said. “The new date is only one of many changes and improvements already in place for 2009. All Pro/Experts, 30+ Vets, and 40+ Vets will practice and race on Sunday only (Dec. 6). An additional one-moto Pro ‘dash-for-cash’ will also be run on Sunday. All other classes will practice and race four days (Dec 3-6). 150cc four-stroke minis will be allowed in all 12-year-old, and older classes. Track changes, including a new mulch-mixture, will intensify racing, and still keep safety as the priority. Services on vendor row will include names like Dunlop, Amsoil, Hinson, AC Racing, ASMF, Pronto Pics, Road Runner, Go Big Graphix, Rekluse Motor Sports, Rockwell Watches, Win Products, Bent Clothing, All American KTM, and many more. With MMI and PPG as presenting sponsors, we’re gearing up now, to break all records.”Braun added; “The position our economy is in, and with consideration of all motocross families throughout, the Braun family has continued, for the past five years, to keep the Amateur Open prices low! That’s one thing we haven’t changed!”For more info: www.BraunEntertainment.com;
