Cycle News Staff | June 10, 2009

If all goes well, Ricky Dietrich will compete in both the National MX round in Pennsylvania and the WORCS round in Washington  this weekend.Dietrich, who filled in for the injured Tim Ferry at last week’s National MX in Texas, will again compete in Pennsylvania under the factory Monster Energy Kawasaki awneing for the High Point round of the Lucas Oil AMA Pro Motocross Championship, which takes place this Saturday. Immediately after the race, Dietrich will high-tail it out of there and head 2000 miles to Washington for Sunday’s WORCS round, where the former WORCS champ is just one point behind the series leader, Mike Brown.”It is going to be a busy weekend,” said Dietrich. “I’ve been training really hard, but you never really train for something like this. I know we have made a lot of plans to make sure everything goes smoothly. I’m not sure what is going to be harder, racing two different races or possible flight delays.”
