Valli Motorsports, already a force in the World Off-Road Championship Series (WORCS) with team riders Bobby Bonds and Bobby Garrison, has formed another team that will compete in the upcoming Lucas Oil AMA Pro Motocross Championship, which gets under way at Glen Helen Raceway in San Bernardino, California, May 23.

Valli Motorsports has signed Sean Hamblin and Jimmy Albertson to compete in the 450 class on Yamahas, rather than Hondas that the team competes on in the WORCS series. Last year, both Hamblin and Albertson earned rides on factory teams during the outdoor Nationals. Hamblin rode much of the series on a factory Yamaha, and Albertson rode the last three rounds on a factory Honda.

“Both riders are proven professionals with great results and I expect the guys to really put forth their best as we will have them on very competitive, proven machinery come the first race at Glen Helen.,” said Charles Halcomb, vice president of Valli Motorsports, large dealership in Northern California. “All the parts and pieces will come together pretty quick as we have been finalizing motor and suspension setups already anticipating this effort. The riders and their mechanics are familiar with each other and should allow for a good flow through out the season.”
