Kawasaki issued what amounts to probably the shortest press release in the history of the sport today when it announced that Roger Lee Hayden will return to the Monster Energy Attack Kawasaki team for the Road Atlanta round, April 3-5, after missing the opening two rounds of the AMA Daytona SportBike class due to what the team called “personal reasons.”Hayden will join teammate Jamie Hacking, who today had his suspension lifted by the AMA, on track at Road Atlanta. No word on if Leandro Mercado, Hayden’s replacement at Daytona and Auto Club Speedway, will continue in the Daytona SportBike class or if he’ll drop down to the SuperSport class for the remainder of the year.Kawasaki’s press release is as follows…Roger Hayden is set to return to the Monster Energy Attack Kawasaki team at the Road Atlanta event on April 3-5. Hayden, the 2007 AMA Supersport champion, will compete in the AMA Pro Daytona SportBike class on his Kawasaki Ninja® ZX-6R
