Dominquez Wins SuperSport

Dustin Dominguez won today’s SuperSport final at Auto Club Speedway, the Kawasaki-mounted Oklahoman leading all 17 laps after qualifying second.The race, which was rescheduled for today because of the expected rain tomorrow, featured just seven entries. And the best of those on this day was Dominguez, who ended up winning by 4.7 seconds.Californian Garrett Willis rode his Yamaha to second in his debut in the series with Clint Shobert, the son of former AMA Grand National and Superbike Champion Bubba Shobert, finishing third. Shobert got the better of Erion Honda’s Tyler Odom, the winner of the opening round in Daytona.Odom continues to lead the championship point standings after two rounds with 48 points, 13 better than Shobert. Dominguez moves into third place with his 32 points from today’s race.
