Roberts Rained Out In Final Round

Kenny Roberts never got the chance to move up the leaderboard a the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am golf championships yesterday at Pebble Beach as horrendous weather on the Monterey Peninsula caused the cancellation of the event.With the event canceled, two teams will share the pro-am team title.
Dustin Johnson, the 54-hole leader, and his amateur partner Joe Rice, an attorney from Charleston, South Carolina., finished tied at 193 with pro Chris Stroud and his partner Ron Christman, the co-founder of nGenera who is from Kingwood, Texas. Rice is a 17 handicap, while Christman is an 18 handicap.
And the low celebrities? That would be actor Chris O’Donnell, who was paired with former UCLA standout Kevin Chappell, and Roberts, who was teammed with Mark Calcavecchia. Both teams were among a group of teams tied for sixth. O’Donnell has a 7 handicap with Roberts playing as a 5.
