The Graves Yamaha team riders Ben Bostrom, Eric Bostrom, Jason DiSalvo and Josh Hayes met Dave “Pappy” Thomas and his F/A 18 Super Hornet squadron pilots at the Monterey airport on Friday. The three F/A 18 Super Hornets will be doing the opening fly-by at this weekend’s Corona AMA Superbike Finale.
Porter is a former club road racer who also did the flyover at Virginia International Raceway earlier in the season.
