In the Lites division, Team Honda’s Davi Millsaps topped the second practice session with a 51.124-second lap, which was over a half a second faster than Sobe/Samsung/Mobile/Honda’s Josh Grant, who turned in a 51.777.’s Rob Kiniry came next with a 53.043, followed by Yamaha of Troy’s Branden Jesseman with a 53.265.

Most of the riders liked the track and thought it was faster than usual, with lots of jumps and more rhythm stuff with multiple lines. This the first race in Detroit’s new Ford Field after 29 years in the Silverdome in Pontiac.
