Red Bull KTM’s Mike Alessi used the third round of the World Off-Road Championship Series in Lake Havasu City, Arizona, March 19, to keep busy during the long break in the West Supercross Lites Series, and came away with the win. Alessi moved into the lead about 11 minutes into the race and held it to the finish.

“This was the hardest thing I’ve ever done,” Alessi said after the two-hour race, held on the Crazy Horse Campground.

Second place went to fellow West Lites Supercross racer, Yamaha of Troy’s Brett Metcalfe. Third went to series leader, Team Suzuki’s Ryan Hughes, while fourth and fifth went to Montclair Yamaha/Zip-Ty Racing’s Bobby Garrison and Kawasaki Team Green’s Ricky Dietrich.
