Caselli Rebounds At Mesquite WORCS

| November 21, 2005

KTM’s Kurt Caselli won the final round of the World Off-Road Championship Series in Mesquite, Nevada, yesterday. After finishing seventh the night before at the Maxxis EnduroCross in Las Vegas, Caselli came from behind on the sandy Mesquite course to nab the win and finish out the year in second place behind Yamaha’s Nathan Wood, who had already wrapped up the championship.

Like Caselli, Team Suzuki’s Off-Road’s Mike Kiedrowski spent most of the race working his way up through the pack and was rewarded with a second-place trophy.

Third place went to Kawasaki Team Green’s Lance Smail, while Montclair Yamaha’s Russ Pearson and Team Green’s Ricky Dietrich rounded out the top five overall.

Suzuki’s Ryan Hughes was leading the race when his RM-Z450 sucked sand and ruined the engine.
