Kurt Caselli On Top In Utah

| September 8, 2005

The Rocky Mountain Mc World Off Road Championship Series got going again after its summer break at Bull Hollow MX in Monticello, Utah. KTM’s Kurt Caselli went right back to where he left off before the break, on top of the podium.

The start of the race saw Zip-Ty racings Nathan Woods grab the holeshot with Caselli and Suzuki’s Mike Kiedrowski in tow. It wouldn’t be long until Caselli made his move and took the lead and checked out. The infamous Bear Canyon would be the factor of the race with Caselli finding the best lines through the tight and rocky terrain. Caselli would win easily and was never challenged through out the entire race.

Woods finished a distant second with Kiedrowski filling out the podium in third. Fourth went to Montclair Yamahas’ Russell Pearson and rounding out the top five was legendary Ty Davis, Last years Monticello winner. The series championship is heating up with Caselli trailing Woods by twenty-seven points with four races remaining.

The next round will be held at Honeylake MX in Milford, CA. on Sept 23rd-25th. Log on to www.worcsracing.com for more details.
