Brown Out For Grand Prix

Paul Carruthers | April 15, 2005

The following is from Mike Brown’s publicist…

Due to reasons beyond Mike Brown’s control, he will not be attending this weekend’s FIM MX GP event being held at Bellpuig, Spain. His team had until midnight last night, April 14th, to fulfill certain contractual obligations, but unfortunately were unable to do so.

This comes as a big blow to Mike, as he had his heart set on winning this year’s FIM MX2 World Championship, which has been his dream since childhood. By not attending this weekend’s race, Mike will now be down by potentially 50 more points should Tyla Rattray win both motos as he did at round one, two weeks ago at Zolder, Belgium.
