WORCS To Have Special Events This Weekend

The Rocky Mountain ATV/MC World Off Road Championship Series is headed to Glen Helen Raceway this weekend October 16-17, and has all kinds of great events to satisfy even the most die-hard moto enthusiasts, young and old.
KTM’s Northern California Sales Manager, Patrick Garrahan, has put together demo rides on a variety of 2005 EXC and Cross Country MXC models. The demo rides will take place after the last scheduled race on Saturday the 16th. Sign-ups for the rides will be available throughout the day on Saturday for those of you interested in trying a KTM for the first time, or for those who would like to compare a different model from what you normally ride. Protective riding gear consisting of a helmet, boots, and goggles are required.
As if riding a brand new KTM for free wasn’t enough, Maxxis Tires is hosting the Maxxis Music Jam at Glen Helen on Saturday night. Featuring the original sounds of the band Another Day. The show starts at dusk and will be held right under the Glen Helen score tower, if you looking for a rocking good time after a day of racing that’s the place to be.
Finally with the series coming to a close, WORCS is doing what no other promoter has ever done, They are giving brand new motorcycles away to eleven of their A-Class champions and Team Green/Carter Powersports’ Ricky Dietrich looks to be ready to start his own team with all the bikes he could end up taking home. Dietrich wrapped up the 125-A championship and received his Pro Circuit KX 125 (Above). He is also in the hunt to win the Semi-pro and 250-A championships, as well, and collect two more motorcycles for his efforts. Numerous other A class championships with a motorcycle on the line are going to go down to the wire, ultimately to be decided by the final event November 19-21 in Payette, Idaho that will pay double points to all the amateur classes.
