| May 3, 2004

Montclair Yamaha/Zip-Ty Racing’s Nathan Woods captured his third win of the Rocky Mountain ATV-MX/World Off-Road Championship Series in Ignacio, Colorado, May 2.

Woods got into the lead not too long after the start, and he and his teammate Ty Davis ran together for the rest of the race. Woods, however, never relinquished the lead and went on to take his second victory in a row. Davis ended up second, followed by Russell Pearson, who made it a 1-2-3 sweep for the Montclair Yamaha team.

Fourth overall went to Destry Abbott, while his Kawasaki Team Green teammate David Pearson rounded out the top five overall.

Two-time WORCS winner Bobby Bonds had to play catch up all day after tangling with another rider in the first turn. Bonds ended up sixth.
