Brown, Pearson Win Las Vegas 200

Brian Brown and David Pearson teamed up to win the Las Vegas 200, December 6, but their Kawasaki teammates, Destry Abbott and Shane Esposito (pictured), wrapped up the Best in the Desert Silver State Series Championship with a second-place finish. The Honda team of Johnny Campbell and Steve Hengeveld went into the race just one point behind Abbott and Esposito and ended up third. Hengeveld was forced to ride the whole way be himself, since Campbell was sidelined with a sprained thumb. Honda-mounted Christopher Blais finished fourth, followed by the KTM duo of Clint Braun and Daryl Folks.
