According to a friend of the family, off-road racer Tim Staab is in critical condition in a Las Vegas hospital following his crash at the Vegas 200. Staab suffered a serious head injury and is currently in an induced coma and is expected to remain that way until later this week. The swelling in his head has stabilized, which is good news. Staab also suffered a dislocated shoulder and a broken arm. When Staab awakens, doctors will be able to further analyze his injuries.
