Teyler, racing his nitromethane-powered Suzuki RM-Z750, blazed up the rough Open-class hill in only 14.944 seconds, winning the Open Class by 1.5 seconds over second-place finisher Nick Beer of Columbus, Montana.

In the 450 main, Teyler lost in the final side-by-side round to the series points leader Logan Cipala of Ellsworth, Wisconsin, but his 1-2 finish in those two classes gave him 47 points for the overall event win.

Cipala finished close behind for the second overall spot, with 45 points after a third-place Open-class finish.

California’s Logan Mead earned 33 points on the day for third overall.

Cipala enjoys a comfortable points lead in the championship. He has 95 points to Mead’s 77. Just five points back in third, however, is Teyler.

Round three takes place at the Big Hill Jam, July 31-August 1, on Josh Hill’s family property in Yoncalla, Oregon. In addition to the Motoclimb racing, the Big Hill Jam will entertain fans with the Faster Minis Pit Bike Races, Monster Energy FMX shows and best whip contests.
