Dean Wilson To Undergo Knee Surgery: Dean Wilson, of the Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing Team, will sit out the rest of the 2020 Lucas Oil AMA Pro Motocross Championship after suffering a knee injury that will require surgery. He suffered a torn meniscus in his left knee.
Wilson suffered the injury while practicing last week.
The team’s Stephen Westfall said, “It’s unfortunate that Dean had an incident while practicing. We all agreed that it’s best to get it fixed now to be 100% for the start of Supercross.”
Wilson is currently 10th in the 450MX-class championship and recently signed a contract extension with the team. His best moto finish in the outdoor championship is eighth, which he did twice at the Ironman National in Indiana. CN
