Scaysbrook and Team Cycle News on the pace at Pikes Peak
The second day of official practice for the 2017 Pikes Peak International Hill Climb was a good one for Team Cycle News KTM North America and our Road Test Editor, Rennie Scaysbrook. The Australian finished the test in second place behind flying KTM North America teammate, Chris Fillmore, who set a sensational 2:35.622 on the middle section of the mountain course.
Scaysbrook’s second place came courtesy of a 2:39.384 time on his final run of the day, as he headed 2016 Pikes Peak Champion, Frances Bruno Langlois (Kawasaki Z900) on a 2:40.496.
Check out the above video for a run down on how the day went from Team Cycle News KTM North America’s perspective.
