Zero Gravity has some new windscreens to replace the stock ones for the 2009 Suzuki GSX-R1000 and 2009 Yamaha YZF R1. First up is the SR Series (Stock Replacement Series), which approximates the size and shape of the OEM windscreen. Next is the Double Bubble, which is Zero Gravity's version of the popular "stepped profile" design. Zero Gravity says that its Double Bubble enhances the bike's race look while providing added aerodynamics. In addition to the SR Series and Double Bubble, Zero Gravity has a Corsa Series screen, similar in shape to the OEM screen but is 1.5-inches taller than stock: It provides additional wind protection for street and track applications. Zero Gravity says that all the screens are made with cutting-edge technology and feature a precise-fit, hand-polished edges, and distortion-free optical clarity, and come in a variety of colors.
For cleaning the bugs and grime off those screens, Zero Gravity sells plastic cleaners including Kleenmaster Brillianize, Plexus, and Novus No.2.
Zero Gravity's production line uses Kleenmaster Brillianize to prep the screens, and the Novus No.2 is used to remove any fine scratches that might have occurred before packaging. Plexus is what Team Zero Gravity uses in the pits - they say because of its ease of use and versatility: It cleans brake dust and chain lube from wheels, and it coats plastic windshields and painted surfaces in one step. (Prices vary, depending on quantity purchased.)
