That's a pretty strong endorsement from the 10-time Baja Champion... Hengeveld is referring to United Distributing's new Leg Pegs, which are small paddle-like pegs that bolt on to your dirt bike, and give your lower legs a platform to rest against when you're in a standing, out-of-the-saddle stance. Your calves can rest against the Leg Pegs, keeping you from sliding backward. In rough terrain, whoops and fast conditions, where it's hard to keep from squeezing the life out of the grips, the Leg Pegs let you use the stronger leg muscles to hold on, and relax your upper body.

When you can control your bike with your legs, it takes some of the strain off your arms, which is why Hengeveld says that the Leg Pegs eliminate arm pump and hand cramping. If you ride in long whoop sections, severe downhills and hacky straights where you need to stand on the footrests for long periods of time, the Leg Pegs can make a difference.

The latest batch of Leg Pegs are triple-dipped hard-annodized in black, and come with the hardware necessary for installation.

United Distributing says that they can fit older models as well, and if they don't fit they way you expect them to, or if you just don't like them, you have 30 days to send them back for a refund.
