Trail D-Vise from Mac's Custom Tie-Downs

The Trail D-Vise from Mac's Custom Tie-Downs is a lightweight hitch-mounted vise with full-sized jaws to help with repairs in the field, on the trail, or at the track. The black, powder-coated steel vise installs to a standard-hitch receiver in less than one minute, and is an convenient tool for mechanics, racers, contractors... or anyone that needs to make repairs on the go. It opens wide enough to repair U-joints, and it can be pinned in place upright or sideways to accommodate different materials.

Engineered to mount in a trailer receiver like a traditional ball mount, the D-Vise weighs only 17 pounds, yet has all the features of a full-size 8-inch vise, including high-grip cross-hatch jaws, a convex pipe holder, and a built-in CNC-cut adjustment wrench. The compact design allows it to store behind the seat of a truck or in most toolboxes. Using the Trail D-Vise is simple – just slide the vise into the receiver and tighten it down with the included Mac's billet wrench. To prevent theft, the hitch pin cannot be removed without a socket or wrench once the Trail D-Vise is slightly tightened down in the receiver.

Trail D-Vise

Everyone from plumbers to bikers will have a use for the Trail D-Vise. The jaws will easily hold 2 x 4 boards or pipe tubes for contractors on worksites. Fishermen and hunters can make equipment adjustments right at their vehicle. Motorsports fans won't experience the disappointment of a day on the trail or at the track with broken parts they need to weld, or need a vise to fix. The Trail D-Vise can also be mounted to a workbench using the optional square tube table receiver. It's perfect for small or temporary work spaces. Last, but not least, Mac's Custom Tie-Downs included a bottle opener on the D-Vise – so when you are finished with your repair, you can crack open a refreshment and enjoy a job well done.
