The Shift Racing Torque Jeans

The Shift Racing Torque Jeans let you have the best of both worlds – casual and comfy blue jeans, with built-in protection you need when riding a motorcycle.

They are made of a heavier denim (14 ounces) than the store-bought jeans, so they have better abrasion resistance than your 501s. They are cut in a ride-specific design to have an ergonomic fit in the saddle, and there's Kevlar-reinforced panels in the seat and knee/shin region, and that Kevlar is coated with cotton poplin to be easy on the skin.

The Shift jeans have a five-pocket design like "regular" jeans, and the inseam runs from 28 to 36 inches so your ankles are covered in the riding position.  Shift prewashed the pants for a nice, denim patina look, in a choice of light or dark indigo. Sizes range from 30 to 40, and they don't cost much more than the jeans you buy at the mall.
